Morio Itozu
Morio Itozu is an experienced bilingual (Japanese and English) organizational consultant, coach, group facilitator and training expert specializing in negotiation, global leadership development, intercultural communication, conflict management, global business alliance and partnerships and organizational change.
Over the past 20 years of consulting in Japanese and American business cultures, he has helped a wide range of leading multinational companies to establish effective global strategies and changes as well as negotiate international business alliances and partnerships. Morio has also conducted a variety of training programs in the areas of innovative leadership, sales, business relations, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development. His clientele includes such major companies as Intel, Cisco Systems, HP, Autodesk, BEA Systems, DuPont, NCR, NEC, Microsoft and Japan Airline, Nitto Denko and Chugai Pharmaceutical.
Morio has closely studied from and worked with Dr. Will Schutz who was a one of the pioneer of the human potential movement and his FIRO theory made huge impacts on the area of the organizational development and understanding human interactions. Morio introduced the Dr. Schutz’s theory and his training program to Japanese business world.
Morio holds a B.A. in Psychology from Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan, and completed his Graduate Studies in Psychology at Antioch University in San Francisco, CA. He is also is a licensed trainer through The Human Element®, and has completed a coaching program by the Center for Creative Leadership.
