Daniel J. Anderson
Dan Anderson is an executive coach with The Leets Consortium headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Dan has more than 25 years of professional and business consulting experience. He works collaboratively with clients to achieve results that matter.
Dan facilitates executive teams and corporate boards in the development and execution of practical strategies. He builds human capital by challenging key leaders to achieve breakthrough performance. Dan’s work reflects a commitment to rigor and imagination, engagement and accountability, collaborative process design and competitive business results.
While trained as a psychologist, Dan’s business consulting for the past 20 years has focused on change management, design of learning, leadership growth strategies, executive team development and creating corporate cultures that sustain both mission and margin in competitive markets. More recently, he has focused on leadership consulting to senior partners in financial consulting firms and to leaders of medical schools and health systems.
Prior to his creation of Hard/Counsel, a professional services firmbased in Montpelier, Vermont, Dan was the founding partner and CEO of Changing Healthcare, Incorporated, a strategy implementation firm. Before that, he served as a Director at Organizational Dynamics, Inc.(ODI) and as Executive Director of Interactions Family Health Center, all based near Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Anderson is lead author of Transforming Health Care: Action Strategies for Health Care Leaders (American Hospital Association Press) and is author or co-author of numerous professional articles. He has served on the faculties of Harvard Medical School and of Boston University’s School of Medicine and School of Management. He has also served on several boards of directors reflecting his commitment to public service. He completed his BA in curriculum design at Goddard College; his M.Ed. in organization development at the University of Vermont; and his Psy.D. in Professional Psychology at Baylor University. Dr. Anderson also matriculated for two years in the Doctor of Business Administration program at Boston University prior to beginning his business consulting career.
